Formed in January of 1986, North Shore Management Associates, Inc. (NSM) is a managing general agency located in Northbrook, Illinois. In California, the company is known as North Shore Management Insurance Services. Underwriting on behalf of more than 20 insurance companies since its inception, NSM has forged its niche in the excess and surplus lines market by remaining nimble and focusing on our clients' needs within an ever-changing insurance marketplace.

The core of our excess property business is catastrophic perils coverage, specifically Earthquake and Flood. We offer direct property damage coverage and business interruption coverage to commercial businesses, properties and residential properties (excluding single family homes). Coverage terms and conditions are negotiable.

In our 26 years as a company we have never lost money for any of our carriers. Our 26 year loss ratio is less than 2%. North Shore prides itself on extremely focused underwriting practices. We only profit when our companies profit, underwriting principals are never compromised.
